SHARPE LAW OFFICE

The office is managed by Jimmy D. Sharpe who has been practicing law in the Triangle area since 1981.  Mr. Sharpe has maintained a general practice  for over thirty years with an emphasis on mediation, as well as family law and personal injury litigation. Our staff also handles traffic cases and  a variety of civil matters such as wills, estates and business support services. Our trial practice includes jury trials in Superior Court, family law litigation, civil litigation and arbitration hearings in District Court cases statewide.  We also represent injured people in uninsured motorist claims at arbitration hearings in automobile accident cases.  The practice utilizes alternative dispute resolution methods such as arbitration and mediation, whenever it is possible and as appropriate on a case-by-case basis.  Mr. Sharpe has been certified by the North Carolina Supreme Court since 2008 as a mediator in both Civil Superior court cases and Family Law cases .  He is a member of the NC Academy of Superior Court Mediators and was selected last year into The National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.
